Time Travel

Wow, guys; I have enjoyed your views. gogeta70, floodhound2 and p4inl0v3r.

Time exists because of Events (This is Philosophy not Physics).
Time passes by as Events occur, whether forwards or backwards Time continues
with its course counting and noting the behaviors of these events.

"Time travel" might be just a term used meaning to tour events which happened before
or what would happen after.

There is what we call Reality and Virtual reality. For Man, Time travel seems to be
possible as a Virtual reality, otherwise with Reality it would involve paradoxes; like,
if your body is composed of the future, all that chicken you eat and other stuff, how
would you travel with it to the past without vomiting that chicken first ? And that would
mean ceasing to exist.

I can say that each Doctrine has its limits.
A Religious man will tell you that, "with God, everything is possible".

A Dream is a natural example of a Virtual reality. It doesn't involve physical bodies.

This is a good thread, i'm glad it popped up ^_^

In my opinion, philosophy should still have some scientific background. It's more of a prediction made from scientific thought with little to no scientific evidence. In other words, i think it should go like this: Philosophical prediction/thought -> Scientific Theory -> Scientific Fact.


What you posted above was closer to metaphysics than philosophy, in my opinion. Still an interesting thought though, it could make a good book.

Metaphysics is a branch of Philosophy, but as you noted, what I posted above
is closer to metaphysics because; metaphysics is a branch of philosophy dealing with
Existence.
