eg. 3D Gloves, Touch-Gloves, Pictures into Brain etc ...

Is this all fiction? Or do you know something about such stuff?
Do u have some Links that are interessting to read? I'm asking this because I read a book that plays in reallity and virtual realities.

I had some kind of 3D-helmet for my Atari Jaguar back in the days, but it only gave me horrible headaches because the visual quality was really bad.... :?

VR is highly experimental for it can cause headaches.

also VR in my eyes is not really VR, it is still projected on the eyes and not in the mind. I recently saw a guy on tv that had implanted a chip in his arm to communicate with a mech hand, so point is, once we have a chip that allows transfers of all the functions we can do in human live to the computer which generates a pulse behind the brain in to the part of the brain which handles the eye vision, that is what we could call VR.

virtual reality and jerking off

Post by DNR »

I think thats the problem behind VR - it is a visual effect. Your eyes were not meant to focus on something that is 1 - 2 inches away from your eyeball. In the lab, we have to take breaks from looking into a microscope, the eyes would glaze over.

VR also has to be a complete experience, you can't say its a virtual reality, when all you do is 'see' something, you don't effect the other senses in the body to feel like you are 'virtually' somewhere. Looking at porn through VR googles but having no other 'realistic' sensory effects would suck. You might as well lay in bed with a Hustler magazine on your face while jerking off. (sorry if there were any minors/women present)
