There are two countries in Asia which have half the population of the whole world;
that is China and India.
Are women in these countries so fertile, or these people live long?
Is it Population or Life-expectancy?!
Re: Is it Population or Life-expectancy?!
Well, in some cultures you have a lot of children, the family usually stays together and helps each other out.
And in some cultures and countries where there is poverty, they don't have fancy things like condoms and such, thus many children.
In China you are not allowed to have that many children , I think it's one or two per couple (I heard that rule is a bit more relaxed these days though), and this is due to the fact that there are too much people in the country, so the government want some crowd control.
Same thing goes for India, although I don't think they have any system that restricts how many children you can have.

it's also because in countries where the main population doesn't have a decent income that allows them to put money on the side and there is also no pension system that guarantees at least the minimum standards when they are old children are the ones in charge. so the more children you have the more likely you don't have to starve or live on the streets when you are old.
that's also why in such countries multiple generations live in one home together.

If this was the case, then African countries would be having the highest population.cats wrote:Well, in some cultures you have a lot of children, the family usually stays together and helps each other out.

In African countries; in villages, there are women who produce every year without
spacing. There is a factor which makes people in China and India so many.

Maybe there is a high death rate in Africa then.Hiram wrote: If this was the case, then African countries would be having the highest population.

Re: Is it Population or Life-expectancy?!
well, China is 1/3 of the size of Africa, but a lot of Africa is desert while most of China is very fertile, and besides that people in Africa spend much time killing one another in pointless wars.

Okay; let's go to south/Latin America.
There we have beautiful women, less conflicts and also poverty to some extent,
but the population isn't that big.
