What exactly are war games? Just a pretty site with some broken glass? Can someone please explain?

A wargame is a setup specifically intended to give users an actual 'hacker like' environment, so that they can hack legally.

well im glad you think its pretty...

but gogeta and Xonet are right, its a server(s) setup with vulnerabilities allowing users to exploit and hack into it without the worry of legal action. the wargames are still under heavy development but in the meantime you can still do scans and TRY to hack whats there. The website for the server is just there to give newbs an idea of whats going on and how to get started in real hacking situations.

yep, you can use your tools, only DDoS is forbidden because you will attack the ISP too then (which is no good idea
