I decided to post this in the windows forum to entice windows users to try linux. Or if they've been dissappointed before after a full linux install...

Topological linux doesn't require a seperate partition for linux. You install it to a directory (c:\tlinux) on top of your windows OS. It's great because you're running windows with linux as a window! So you don't have to boot back 'n forth between the 2 OSs.

You don't even have to burn it to CDs, you can install from the ISO images.

So if you haven't tried linux or were upset by wasted time with a full linux install try this. You get to have the best of both worlds or your cake and eat it too. :)

nice link d10b! :)
surely a good alternative for beginners, because for most people it´s difficult to create the proper partitions and bootloader settings when doing their first Linux installs and so there's a big risk to kill XP....and not everybody has a 2nd box just for testing.
