thing is: if you set yourself SUCH a goal you need to have a well organized group with really great contacts into all directions already set up, a multi-million botnet would also be helpful.
the people that lead such groups (if they exist, most is bullshit talk anyway when people are bragging about their superhacker status online) use their powers for commercial purposes then....with power comes greed.
and hey, if you come too close to people in high positions you disappear faster than you can spell guantanamo.

so I highly recommend to simply set up a small group with real friends first and then see where it goes.....have fun, learn, but don't take it all too serious.
