JavaServer Faces

I am learning and simultaneously working on JSF.
Is it the good and emerging platform to work on?
There are not enough video tutorials available for it as well as not enough notes/white papers. So, it's a bit difficult to learn it.
Can anyone suggest their own opinion on this?

I find any Oracle/Java Documentation to be super dry.

Honestly I think the current big thing is Node JS for web development.
