Coursera

Post by ph0bYx »

https://www.coursera.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; offers a lot of good quality online courses, and when I say a lot I really mean A LOT:
https://www.coursera.org/courses" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

They say they offer a certificate if you manage to finish a course, I never made it to the end of one, not because I'm stupid but I just didn't have the time for it then. This year I signed up for a lot of courses of which I ,knowing myself, probably won't finish any.

BUT I still have access to last years courses that I missed, meaning I can access all the material and they close that down after a while (allegedly) so I found a really nice script for downloading precisely coursera courses materials and I'm downloading the shit out of them right now :D

I do encourage anyone who wants to take part in the online courses to do so, it's really well designed. And if you don't have time right now to follow it, since there is homework and exams with deadlines, sign up anyway and at the end of the course download all the material :)

Here's the script:

Actually there are still open courses. Just sign up for the ones that are dated somewhere at 2012!
