Banners, logos, graphix I can't help you with.
Animated GIF's?
You can find an online generator for those.
You should understand a 'good' webpage vs a 'bad' one (colors, coding, links, etc). (Google 'bad webpage examples' for instance).
KISS (Keep it simple, stupid).
Try to limit anything 'fancy' to one or two things per page, not too many images b/c it'll load slow, not too many diff colors (pick ones in the same family), font options, no wallpapery-backgrounds in annoying patterns, a clear navigation menu on index.html...
What style do you want it in?
Something classic? Modern? Art Deco? Fancy-shmancy? Gothic? lol
What do you have already?
(You can email it if you need to).

Ok, then as your icons/list item markers, pick something from the game.
You can make your font style the same or close to the same font from the game.

Thumbnail screenshots with a click for a larger view?
Dunno, Chaos lol.
Maybe someone else will have some ideas, too.

Cool!
Can i PM you for some tips & hints. I'd like to learn a bit more about Java Server Pages.
(if fact i know nothing, zilch walu-walou about Java on Web-apps.)
and Blasix, is that server app really necessary to have Java on serverside ?
There are Apache modules i think ( not sure, just remembering by hearth)

And regarding Blazix you can also use Apache tomcat instead of that (also Weblogic and Websphere) but i think Blazix is cool, its only 1.5mb large but still powerful and acts as a standalone webserver for both windows and linux, i like that
