Cool looking bike helmets

Post by maboroshi »

Got any recommendations or links? I need a new helmet, I don't think the full head thing suits the terrain I am usually on. I am usually in pretty casual trails rather than extreme downhills LOL

have a look at Giro helmets, even the cheap ones offer a good protection.
this one would be a good beginner helmet for a decent price for example:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

if you can spend some more money (like about 90-100) try to find the Giro "Xen", it's not produced anymore but they can still be found in online shops for reduced prices...it's the helmet I have and pretty much THE classic mountainbike helmet.

if you prefer the skater-style helmets have a look at the ones from Nutcase, they provide good safety and, if you like, also a wide collection of unusual or funny styles...my fav is still their watermelon one:
" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but keep in mind those closed helmets don't provide a good airflow, so on hot summer days it can get a little hot and sweaty on long rides.
