Problem with Windows 8

The problem with windows 8 is it's windows 8.....FULL STOP. Why do they think people want to use their systems as a phone or a tablet? It is what it is....a computer!!! I hate it already but i will try out Wolf ET before i decide to delete it completely, if its fine i will dual boot the system but as for the whole feel of it, well, i hate it!!!

erm, you can switch to a classic desktop...but don't ask me where/how as I have never worked on Win8 personally yet...

and no need to install ET, the gaming server turned into a honeypot in the meantime...and then into mab's test server where he does inhumane experiments with Apache.

Crazy doctors every where

Most things it wants you to run as an app rather than a full installation. Also if you want to use skype you have to have a microsoft account.... whats that all about. To get round it you uninstall the app and install the full version and away you go.

yeah, Skype- and MS Live accounts have merged a while ago, which is quite silly, I ended up with a bunch of duplicates in the contact list on Skype that way...

Back home now (in Thailand) and downloaded debian last night so will install that later today. Will dual boot and see how that goes, will report back later

Want it installed and done before i got to the Philippines at the end of the week.
