i came across a VPS with an unusual network configuration, the gateway is on a different network than the interface ip, an arp command shows only the mac of the gateway and nothing else as if i'm the only one on the network...
the visualization technology used is KVM
any idea how it's done?

hmm...different network in which way? could it still be the same subnet or is it a whole different class?
