some of my customers use Dropbox for sharing development file with me, I already don't like the iface.....if it's only done by the hashes it could be easily evaded simply by zipping it for example. but I suspect them to do it even more privacy-invading by fetching the meta-data of files (like videos and mp3).
but well, what can you expect from a US-based company...they have to submit to DMCA...
