Oups well it seems the giant e-commerce ebay was breached and it was announced only today

hm, seems the attackers compromised some ebay employee accounts and that way they got in....but:

The cyber attack was made between late February and early March and gave hackers full access to eBay customers' name, encrypted password, email address, home address, phone number and date of birth.

question is now: what encryption algorithm ebay is using?

well if the passwds r accounts passwds they can ask every user from now on to change his pass and there is no CC infos but the question is what will they do about having their clients in danger of ID theft ( spam is less dangerous than ID theft I think ), I think this will be the 2nd biggest breach after the Target breach but euh at least now that its out for the public, there will be fingerprints to watch and follow to know more about what really happened and how
