Stupid question but... have you enable to show the extension of a file?

in ms dos, go to the folder that the file is in, then type "ren filename filename.ext" without quotes, of course.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

Try opening them in notepad, they may just be texts. At least one of them may be...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

You can ask where you downloaded it from.

You can try something like TrID, which tries to determine the file type by comparing it to known types...

1st turn "hide known file extensions" off!!!

2nd select all three files, right click and choose extract... the big files get broken into lots of little .rar files to ease stop and starts of downloads.
