Exactly how should we understand the Value of things?

Our World is controlled by numbers. For example, you just get a number
and communicate to that person who makes your heart jump. Digital
devices use machine code as the final executable language which is numbers.

Whenever Isaac Newton discovered something, immediately he would
struggle to translate it into calculations, and those calculations still work up
to this day.

In the novel or movie; The Treasure Island, I was so enthusiastic about the
treasure being sought. But when Long John Silver mentioned the value of
the treasure in numbers, that is £700,000, I felt that it wasn’t much.

If you can convert the value of something into a number, believe it, you
will end up underestimating it. Man hardly understands his own world, but
He is pushing far beyond it with a motivation of underestimation.

On the other hand, cost in numbers tends to bring about overestimation. If
you know how much your country spends on roads or infrastructure; it is
way too much.

Do you have to know the value of something to know its cost? But are those
two terms compatible?

Our Generation is Poor because we focus on numbers on coins and paper
notes, believing that they represent the value of things. But considering the
origins of money; it was just approval of requisition for the one who really
was required to acquire an item.

Value is Value. Isn’t it?

A Mystery will always remain a mystery. It is supposed to be understood that
way. If any mystery appears to be uncovered, that is just a sketch of how
you understand that mystery; not bad if you understand what you know,
or know what you believe.

Is Man’s knowledge getting outdated? Won’t we be replaced by other
beings just as we replaced those before us?

Our World; this Earth wasn’t Virgin in our beginning. Creatures were there
before us. Archaeologists are always digging up remains.

Eh, by the way; what is a Thousand Trillion? How far do you go with Numbers?

If Man chose numbers to control His World, then He has to be really serious
with them.

How do Governments launch Money into circulation? Isn’t there supposed to
be weight behind the paper notes and coins to balance whatever they can buy
or pay for?

If they just print and launch into circulation, then you could easily be bought
off. Hasn’t it ever occurred to you that you got an instinct of worry about
exchange of a tangible item for paper notes?

If you worked and got lots of money; what is the best way to preserve that
Wealth? Keep it in the Bank? Most say Land and Estates. Knock it off! Ok; it
could be the best known in a stable and predictable environment (ideal
environment).

But sometimes Natural disasters warn, sometimes they don’t. Or even
artificial disorders.

So Insurance comes in? But do you still maintain the Value?
All these approaches are done as people play with Numbers. Remember;
Insurance is a Business. They also need Profit.

Insurance can cover you up to a certain limit, or with in Terms and
Conditions. You can be given a Helmet to cover your head, but remain
naked the rest of you!

right, but the US Dollar lost a lot of its reputation, like the Euro, both are simply too unstable.....just remember the times the USA hit the debt ceiling.

I agree with you b_b. Precious metals and Gemstones are like a universal currency. They
don't lose value or become invalid, eg. if there is a change of Government. They can't
be seen as money, but as an investment because they carry the same measure of Value.

If Gold coins money is made in our Generation, it can be melted and sold as a commodity
in another form.

And there can't be 'real fakes' of them. Man can explain how they are formed in the
Earth crust, but can't create them. Ancient Alchemists tried this, but in vain.

The Origin of Money is some kind of debate.

The problem is; money is made ambiguous, instead of focusing on the sense of
money.

Origin is neither traced by Analysis nor History.

By analysis, Archaeologists and Scientists use dug up bones of ancient creatures
to reconstruct how those creatures looked like and how they behaved.
Do you believe them?

Our Ancestors misunderstood a lot of things, yet they passed on History to us.
Do you believe all History, Legends and Myths?

If money represents consumable commodities after a transaction, and then the
commodities are consumed; is Value lost? The sense is; the seller has money
of consumed goods.

Another paradox is; if money represents commodities which still exist, where will the
Value be? In the money or commodities, or both?

nope, you exchange your money for a limited quality time. like when paying 5 bucks to access a public pool: you exchange the 5 bucks for an hours of quality time with looking at hot girls in bikinis.

actually time is the most valuable good, because you can make as much money as you want but you can not buy extended lifetime (ok, you can extend it a little with money by buying healthier food, but you get the idea).
