Hi
so i've just installed the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS x64 on my old Hp dc7800p.
this machine my hp dc7800p is supposed to be set up as a Media streaming server, with my movies and series on.
all my movie and series are stored on a 2 tb sata HDD and is currently mounted in my Gamer pc, that runs Windows 10, without password protection.
now my issue is that i'm trying to access my gamer pc via LAN.
Ubuntu is asking for a User name and password (that does not exist) every time i try access my gamer pc on the network.
why is this happening?
how to i solve this issue so that i can access my gamer pc via LAN?
Cheers!

I assume the gamer PC is running Windows?
