I have invented a device that will calculate your speed, heart rate, deceleration, acceleration, distance traveled, altitude, heights and so much more. This device will be a small unit that is used for skate boarders, mountain bilkers, snowboarders, and any one who needs a small device to measure there performance. It will upload the data to a PC and plot performance in a graphical format for analysis.
A hypothetical situation would be –
“Yo dude I crashed on turn 4 and hit 7 G’s on my plot here, why am I alive?”
“Man I jumped 11 feet on that trick the record is 10 at that skate park”
“I need to accelerate more on coming off the line”
“I went down a 60 degree slope on my mountain bike and hit 4G’s”
Do you think this is a cool idea? Should I manufacture this?
It is almost finished and would cost the consumer around $130 Dollars.

HE HE lets just say I am into electronics and that was the easy part. I am also developing a way to test blood sugars in diabetics without taking blood. So far I have designed a small device that is put in the finger and monitors blood sugar levels then sends the data out to a receiver where it can display the data. My hopes are that the patient will not need to be stuck 3 times a day. Just once for the transmitter (as small as a piece of dental floss is the goal) I am just trying to make life a better place for everyone. Now I need to invent something to rid the world of WARS and IGNORANCE….

Hell yes but mine is able to measure terminal velocity and shock due to athletics events plus heights jumped or achieved and body temps etc. I guess a watch would be a nice addition/package for it, never considered that. I am also shooting Radio waves to the PC for data so it is wireless.

good idea
how about GPS so a biker or snowboarder can plot out his location in relation to the g-force/speed/heart rate event. This device could be as big as small fanny pack, and I'd wear it. Information about events are useless if you can't map it to its time frame or location.
Good idea, send me a beta kit and I'll run it through its paces on my Specialized Stumpjumper FSR 24 speed.
BTW, there are trials for skin contacts to test blood glucose. It sounds like it takes a long time to measure via skin sweat, galvanic response, whatever. A person's blood sugar has to be measured with a high degree of accuracy, you cannot be off by 50 points. Glucose meters are testing the blood's serum.
