Remote connection via IP

I would like to connect to my home computer from work by IP adress.
Is this possible?if it's,,,, please give me some information about this connection....thanks....

sure, there are different ways, which one is the right for you depends on the OSs of both computers. if both are XP you can use the remote desktop:
