Linux at school?
Linux at school?
So do you think I could get in trouble if I brought linux to school and used it? Im not entirely sure on that I don't see anything wrong with it or anything, but school can be be pretty gay sometime. Have any of you ever brought it to school and used it, if so what was the outcome?

Its a live cd and yeah it would be on the schools pc. My friend wants me to show him something and I cant go over to his house after school because im always busy and the weekends I work. It wouldnt be anything that would get use in trouble though. He wants to delete some thing he downloaded but it wont let him delete it.

Well it really depends.. in my previous school i fucked things up so badly but still at my present college they will let me do anything, my lecturers and lab assistants trust me so much that they let me do anything.. i specially installed redhat on one computer for my personal use.. and i m sure i will never dissapoint them.
I am in a computer class at school called "Computer Hardware and Operating Systems" (CHAOS) and the teacher has never seen linux before. However, she has another teacher that has linux on cd's and she is trying to get them. I also have a bunch of linux cd's and linux on my laptop along with windows. So in certain cases, yeah, you're allowed to bring linux to school, but generally no. Btw, the teacher liked linux when i showed it to her on my laptop...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...
