Hey I know i'mm new here but I felt like starting a thread.
Post some 3D modeling projects you have made. I messed up on mine so here is a screenshot. I'm new at this and used blender 3d. This took about 4 hours.
nice, especially the haircut...
Maboroshi told me he'll start with blender3d now, and Necrix is/was into Bryce, so there are surely people here which are interested.
I'm not much of a graphics guy, give me a shell and I'm happy...
Nice!
Yeah, I use Bryce 5(as bad_brain said).
It's pretty cool, and while I'm getting used to animating my 3d models..I don't quite have the processing power/patience to render the animations.
A friend of mine uses Wings3d for 3d stuff...the program kinda resembles the screenshot you posted.
Well I screwed up when I made mine. I could render it./ I let my computer sit for 1.5 hours. You always have to keep the number of polygons in mind I guess.
I took Computer Art in school, we used Photoshop though
i thought about getting Autodesk Maya 8
its a bundle pack, but the retail is like $7 "GRAND"
lol
i did find a copy of it for $Free.99
but it would take foreve to download, plus i STILL need another hard drive
i'm down to oh...lets say....197Mb
So... So...Sad
lol
“Yes, I am a criminal. My crime is that of curiosity.”
It actually depends on the hardware. I can do basic things with a 1.3ghz and 256ram. So as long as you have that much go for it. Otherwise you will have to wait 30+ minutes for an image to render.
ive dabbled a bit in making 3D images, but not that much, i used Lightwave and 3D Studio Max, i had a nice Chess Piece of a King but it was lost when my pc crashed...
well am new in this thread but am a freak for this 3d stuffs especially games. do you guys think that one can creat and animate 3d games or films/simulators using any of these tools: cybermotion 3d-designer, ac3d or blender. thanks for you contribution
this thread has been living for ages
any way, I really dunno about 3D stuff... I tried once and i lost interest in it right after a small while...
But im waiting for the answer from one of the pros, coz from time to time i try to work in 3D stuff
