Hey...
Well, I had to setup my system again and now I´m looking for a registry hack which I found very comfortable, unfortunately I forgot to write it down...
When I right-clicked a folder there was the option to open the folder in command prompt, anyone an idea or anyone knows a good site which deals with registry hacks? :)

I recently got a book called Windows XP Hacks by O'Reilly Books, it has some great registry hacks among other things. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to use XP to its fullest.

Thanks...
Yeah, O´Reilly-books are real nice, but sometimes pretty expensive...well, if you know a link to the ebook..... 8)

Well,here´s how it´s done with the reg-hack:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ Directory \ shell
right-click on shell, create a new key named cmd
click the new key, then double-click standard on the right plane,
enter the text you want to be displayed in the contex-menu like "open in command prompt"
now right-click cmd again and create a new key named command
double-click standard on the right plane again and enter cmd /k cd %1

That´s it! Now you have the option to open a folder in command prompt in the context-menu when you right-click a folder... :)
