just signed up and read some posts for newbs, all the recommendations on where to get started going all different directions. I decided to start on HTML, and opened my dads e-book on the ftp server, but the size of the monstrosity makes me wanna stop . well i guess the question is: what is actually the best place to get starded?

well where i got started and helped me on how to do it alot was in www.w3schools.com

no social life?? you're wrong.. no one can be a good hacker without social life.. i m talking about social engineering... easiest to do but skills are hard to learn. You can enjoy your social life but not much.. it depends on you, if you like social life you can enjoy it and if you dont you can just sit alone with your box..
like in my life there are some phases.. like on weekends i hang out with friends and have party and enjoy... rest of the days i prefer staying in my room all alone without any disturbence and yes lots of peace!!!

yeh i agree mean im mostly out with m8ts but in spare time jst want to sit down and go on the computer. So your starting on HTML yeh same here quite easy n my teacher has gave me stuff on it so im sorted.Gte things on HTML on the download section as well.like in my life there are some phases.. like on weekends i hang out with friends and have party and enjoy... rest of the days i prefer staying in my room all alone without any disturbence and yes lots of peace!!!
