UNABLE TO INSTALL

I have been trying to install a programme but I get a box appearing that says something like ...'
[You don't have the required privileges to continue the installation. Please have your systems administrator install this software] "Couldn't get access to : "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.srf"

I HAVE installed this on my laptop without a problem but it will not go onto my PC.

Can anyone advise me how to deal with this, please?

Log in as an administrator? If you've done that, well.... it's windows.....

registry cleaner might help

Thanks for advice but I found the answer is to change the options within the registry file to allow access.
