I hear its good for mad heavy hacking, that true?

well it can be used for certain tasks im sure, its got scripting capabilities so you can write your own scripts on start-up, alot of trojans have an option in their servers to connect to an mIRC server and to a private channel and post useful information, same goes for virus's, a virus spreads through the internet, through say e-mails, opens a backdoor and posts the connection information (IP, PORT, SERVICE etc...) in the private channel...

also mIRC is useful for gaining information on possible targets like getting target IP address's and such....

most people use bot in irc to scan web or find website that can be hacked.
