Problem with Second Life/ my broadband subscription

Post by Swan »

Guys is Second Life peer-to peer or file-sharing software?

well my broadband provider says that we will get our broadband cut off if we dont stop breaching the fair usage policy between 6pm and 11pm.The fair usage policy applies to p2p and file sharing software, I have recently joined Second Life (though thoroughly regretting it) and wonder if SL fits into this category.

I'm pretty sure it classifies as a MPOG. Your not shareing files. You are going to constantly run the bandwidth though. If network speed is there concern they will likely add it to there list.

It is peer-to-peer but so is the Internet
