Hey guys, haven't posted for a while - busy with classes.
I have a project on my mind and i was trying to find out what progamming language would be the best.
I wanna write a program where you can input say for example coordinates and it will draw you a vector. And maybe it could multiply the vectors for you, take their dot product and stuff like that. Basically i want smth that will have some graphical interface and will do some math too.
A friend of mine suggested opengl, but i dont think you need anything that powerful for a project like that, do you?
Let me know you opinions and whether you want me to elaborate more on the details of the project.

Visual basic is great, but only for a windows machine. I already have some code for what you have listed. I had to use it for a project I did a while back. If you are not running a windows machine maybe someone will help besides myself. I am trying to wean myself off of windows programming languages by learning other languages that are more portable.
