Right. So.
I'm a fan of more classic RPG's, FF4, FF7, PS Generations of Doom, NWN series.
Even Dofus, but not so much AQ ~
There are only 2 easily accessible gaming stores here, both with a *very* limited selection. (The other is in a *mall* [shudder])
I've bought Arthur and the Minimoys, but it isn't even adventuring. Changing the view doesn't help, b/c as soon as you walk down the rickety bridge, the view goes back to default. (i.e. you don't see shite). And when you die, you lose all the dragonfly eggs (for HP) you busted your ass collecting.
I'm playing PS Universe, but there is more fighting in that game than Spyro A New Beginning. There is no flexibility in the play. It's more of a Devil May Cry genre than true RPG.
Kingdom Hearts.
Now, do I *really* want to spend my time delivering letters on the *hella* cheap, or kicking a ball to keep it in the air, 80 freakin' times to have enough money to go to the beach? No, don't freakin' think so....
Soooo.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm looking for flexibility in my character/gameplay, options for my character/gameplay, adventuring mixed with battle...
Ya know, a classic RPG.
I'm not so fond of strategy gaming, but if it incorporates strategy that's fine.
And even then, is it sold in Europe????
GAAK...
All this for a game
(sigh)
OH!! For PS2, sorry
Thanks ya'll.

okay, PS2 rpgs are all mostly japanese...Right?
So i will suggest you with "good old classical" Japanese RPG!
+:Awesome Graphics for PS2, new combat system
-: Nothing very major
2.Dragon Quest 8:
+:Awesome long lasting game
-: LOTS of loadings
3.Shadow Hearts Convenant:
+: Original, Like no other
-: Very Simple (Hardcore Rpg gamers won't like it)
and im pretty sure they can be bought in europe

Thank you lol.
I'll have to Google them to get a look at the covers, sometimes even games are titled a bit differently here.
Man, you made my morning.
Now, I have to get the courage to walk through... a mall.....
Thanks again!!
