How do i create them , what program do i use etc?

To be honest, my site isnt really kicking off and I am feeling a little despondent about it.

best free graphics program is Gimp: http://www.gimp.org/
best non-free is Photoshop CS1...but it's damn expensive...

but actually you can use any graphics program.....

you only need to know the size of the image, create a new one and replace the old one with it.....

p.s. because your site is on one of my servers I can help you a little with replacing the graphics...but not with creating one, simply because I suck in graphics...

What do you mean BB? To me, readin that sentence, that sounds like i am taking an existing image, i.e. a pc and then yploading it. I am a little confused.

PS I have Adobe Photoshops Elements 5.0...would that work?

samedi, here's an example: right-click on the left side of the suck-o header and check the "properties"...you'll see the image is sized 325x88, right? now you would have to create a new graphics with the same size and simply replace the file...and voila: new header...

p.s. of course you can create images with other sizes, but then you would have to resize the table cell of the header.

speaking of warez...i have this app that costs exactly 15000 dollars...

i was curious if it rocks...

anyway

try Photoshop CS2 (not 3)

thats what i use...

it takes alot more than that actually

here is my process of manufacturing

1. Idea
2. Stocks, Renders, Colors,....etc.
3. Skills and putting it together (skills are not that hard to obtain takes time)
4. Save PSD and check if you missed anything

Okay... I have created a rough version of what I want to try and have for my site, couple of questions:

1)How do i resize it? Sorry BB I did exactly what you said, but i wanted to use a personal graphic that was to big for the default size for the site header and I dont know to scale it down.

2) Can I maybe show you guys and see what you think? And give me some ideas as to how to polish it? I am pleased I hae managed to create what I done rudimentary as it is through sheer experimination. Regarldess be gentle in your criticism

well, there is some kind of resize-function in any graphics manipulation program (I guess), simply look for such an option...

you can post the pic or send it to bad_brain@suck-o.com and I'll upload it for you....

and yeah, I knew it's for your own site....

Heh, you never know dude. I've learned not to underestimate anyone when they make graphics, they may start out as a damn good designer.

Also, sorry about that, i only skimmed over the posts. Now that i read the topic, i can see that it was for your site. My mistake.
