I have 2 questions

i have no idea if this is ok to ask but how do i hack into my moms notebook it runs on xp and she bet me $30 dollars that i wouldn't be able to. and also where can i find the password file to see the passwords in my pc.
any good answers would be appreciated and welcomed please answer asap.

One “easy way” to hack it is to install my key-logger. After she leaves the computer to go to the bathroom just jump in the cockpit and install my logger.

Then after a few days she will have to leave it the computer again you can copy the log file on a jump drive and view it from a different computer. It will record the login password. All of her other account passwords as well will be recorded, so you could say “you will bet $60 that you can get into her email.”

This is an EASY way only!

i don't want to skidd i want to do it the old fashioned way lol....she told me no trojans/edit:keyloggers/brutes T~T.

As Floodhound2 suggested, when she is not there sit down...install Cain & Abel, it's a windows password recovery tool

If you have access to the laptop, run a live cd and get a samdump and then crack it using john the ripper or w/e.

that's great thank you all for the information on the laptop but i still need to now how to see the password on my pc with out using any files to install, there is a file (and i know there is) that has the password of an account in it may some one please tell me which is the files name?
Edit: let me correct that "it has the passwords of all the accounts in my computer"

Depending on which brand the computer is you may be able to boot in safe mode and then simply log in as the admin with the default password whihc is either blank or "admin" try just hitting f8 at start up to get to boot options and then choose safe mode if your having trouble post here again prbly a little late on the reply here though

but im pretty sure the passwords are encrypted I don't think microsoft is going to put the password anywhere where you can just read it. This being the case it would be hard to Imagen you can get the password without outside programs. but then again nothings impossible.

and it is not the one she uses a lot because i know almost every single one

Edit:i downloaded a ssh client that B_b uploaded a couple of weeks ago and i was wondering if i can use that to download something into her pc because i have all the information required to connect to her
