Window opening on startup

Post by ayu »

Everyone using Windows has probably had this problem at least once before.

Anyway, i started the computer today and a window came up "My computer", i restarted just to make a check and yes indeed it did start up again.

I have had this problem before but never taken time to learn wtf the problem is.

Anyone?

well... is the Window a message box? and check your startup processes. Go to run and enter

Code: Select all

msconfig
and check if its a startup process and wipe it out if its so. But I am a big Windows user, and I never had such a problem. hmmmm.... :-k

Since it is "My computer" it is not a message box :<

lol. My bad, I thought it was a messagebox saying "My Computer" I was like wtf! :P Whats wrong with My Computer booting up every startup?! Besides that, have there been any new programs installed that may caused this? Have you check your startup processes? And check to see if somthing is configured on the Control Panel to do so.

seems like something is conflicting with explorer.exe
not explorer.exe that starts up every time you logon to you pc but explorer.exe to browse files
