Dead pc's

i would like to know how to component test if any 1 can help me. i have 2 other pc's maybe a few more mobo amd procs about and im always ok when i can get the mobo to beep when booting to diagnose my problem.

so i need a vault meter first il get 1 first thing

also i have stripped down to bear a few times which makes me think its the mobo and built up from scratch to test but no beeps even at minimum.

hm, with a voltmeter you will not get far, you can check the PSU with it and other basic stuff like that....but for checking a mainboard it'll not really help, simply because the circuits are too complex. there are mainboard diagnosis cards available like this one.
