can't install WinRar =(

trying to open a few rar packages in Debian. Tried installing winrar but doesn't work =/ did "make install" in the rar folder and it told me to do some stuff, i did and when i write "rar" it says

enmaai:/# rar
rar: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by rar)

but when i did "locate libc.so.6" it was in the correct location. What to do? =(

EDIT: nvm seems like it is working now, but....it seems like i have to unrar from shell, and i have no idea how to =/ will check google while waiting for answer ^^ will post here if i find anything

EDIT2: kk found a solution, apparently all i have to do is "unrar e archivename" and it will unrar it in the same directory =)

i encountered a new problem now =P i unrared the files and got the following

ukt-wowbca.B6I

ukt-wowbca.B6T

(all the part packages are named ukt-wowbca.R00-xx)

i converted the largest of the files to iso, and tried to mount it. But it tells me that i have to specify filesystem.

=/

ok, you mean it's a big file divided into smaller parts like on rapidshare downloads? you should be able to put the files together by:

cat part1.rar part2.rar part3.rar > full.rar

and then extract full.rar...

ok =P will try that...but here is a loooot of files xD

EDIT: nvm anymore lol...it worked in the start....turns out it's some really really unusual file format that some underground company that no1 cares about made, so i cant even mount the files in Windows.....i would have to "buy" the program and burn the files, and since i got no empty cd's or dvd's at home right now i will download another version of the file i want with another format ;/
