Multi sound? System Monitor? w00t?!

Post by ayu »

i have been googling around today a lot and scrolling through the Debian packages but haven't found anything good =(

so...i have 2 questions

1: where can i find a system monitor that can be implemented "in" the desktop...with hdd status and ram and cpu...etc, that can be changed with transparency and so on?

2: I started a game today, and at the same time i started some music....only one of them could be used =/ same with everything else...i can only have one sound program at a time....any idea? =P

Thanks in advance

to question 1:

Code: Select all

apt-get install conky
I guess it's exactly what you're looking for, it's highly configurable....here you can look at some screenshots:

Question #2:

http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/wiw ... OWTO+Sound

This is a link to use teamspeak and game at the same time, you have to set your game to only OUTPUT the sound
