I think there is a formula for it, something like thanks*thanks = Double thanks

I couldnt find any bug officially announced by the company, but it is very much possible that it has some 0day vulnerability.
I think you may download the vbulletin, and look at the source, particularly that area which has to do with the "thanks" option you're talking about, also you might wanna check out the url formed while submitting thanks, you might try and insert some random values, you never know what you may find...

Btw. Most Vbulletins have been patched already, so its useless.  :roll:
