IRC?

I am trying to make a site and what my own IRC on it. The thing is, I dont know much about IRC's.

I dont know if I need a client or server, all I know is I want an IRC like the one on suck-o. The thing is, I want my IRC to be able to connect to my channel and other channels as well... How would you possibly do this? Any help apperciated.

Start by getting a server

http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/ircd/

or you could just go to a random network and create a channel (quakenet?)

For the webclient you could ask b_b where he got his, or try this
