hmmm ok.
You mean they give you a limit? as in "you are allowed to register this amount of subdomains under this domain"
Well.. sorta. You can use the domain's and subdomains later. But if you dont use a domain, but a subdomain then the subdomain would register under the site's domain rather then the domain you plan on.

lol.."sorta" do you or do you not name them at the beginning? =/ because that would be to register them at start rather then having a "limit" of for example 4 subdomains, and register them when you need them.
Well... its sorta like register when you need them like. You start just with a directory, no folders or anything. Then when you make the subdomain or domain it creates a new folder with that. I dont remember the exact host... I am sorry to say.
btw. Dont have to pay extra for the package.

usually you get a limit of subdomains you can use and set them up when needed....at least I never heard of a host where you have to set them up instantly. for subdomains there is no registration procedure like for real domains anyway...
Any of the good hosts out there offer pretty much unlimited amounts of subdomains with their hosting, even on the free plan. 110mb.com is a prime example of this. Then there is 1and1.com with their first basic plan you get 25 included...last one is like 500 subdomains of which you would never use. So to sum it up, pretty much any webhosting offers a number of features which include subdomains with no extra charge. (up to a certain point)
