k bubzuru, sorry any way i thought you was using debian so incase you havent got it working from dual boot heres how to on ubuntu through shell

meh...Linux without internet access is no fun and the package managers are pretty useless then, so setup your internet access first.
are you using a router?

yep

on windows you just put the disk in the drive click next next next
and your done y cant it be like that on linux

because many manufacturers don't provide Linux drivers... :wink:

but setting up internet access is really easy...all I need to know is the IP of your router and if you use 1 network card or more on the computer...then I can tell you what to do.. :wink:
