HTML code into forum

How to implent it? I've learn a bit of html in school but i dont know how to implent it into a post...
I tried these:

<font = white> text </font>
<font=white> text </font>
<font = "white"> text</font>
<font = #FFFFFF> text</font>

bcz i want a font and a bg color so people can't see a hidden text withou highlighting it... can you point me somewhere( sry i did a really short google seach)

Yeah but that's the BBCode... Like for the post your talking about, I did want to make it so people HAVE TO highlight it like:

Well, I messed around with it a bit..couldn't get the background to change color. People on HTS(hackthissite.org) usually just make the text white for spoilers, so people would really have to try to read it.

hm,I don´t think it´s possible to change the bg color, at least I´ve never seen a board with different colors.
but you could get the # color info of the actual background with a graphics program and then just change the font color with the normal BB code....

I just read it somewhere in the internet... maybe this code will work for you.
