since the last update to 2.0.0.7 Firefox freezes much more often than before, and this happens regularly on the same sites...anyone the same experience?
an example:
on this site Firefox freezes on the first time I load it, after killing the process the site loads fine on the 2nd attempt.

Sorry to say b_b but you might have some conflict somewhere. I have checked the site you posted and firefox loads it without any glitches on my windows pc. I would uninstall firefox, use a reg cleaner and reinstall it incase it is a bad setup file.

BB your not alone the, same thing happens to me, when I go to chartrooms, example IRC chat room, when that happens I usually, end the firefox process, then reopen firefox, may be we should reinstall firefox like alen said but now for me it does not happen much.

ok, reinstalled it and it seems to work fine now....I took the opportunity to install the alpha version of FF3 too, seems to be a lot faster than FF2...
if anyone is interested it can be downloaded here:
http://developer.mozilla.org/devnews/in ... -download/
because no plugins seem to be supported yet it's better to use it as 2nd browser imo...
