I download Dynamic Design's Lockout Desktop Security and it really sucked so I uninstalled as directed by their website, but it did give me access to all of my programs and files after the uninstall. And I can get anyone to reply from Dynamic Designs...... can some one point me in the right direction??

hm, I checked the publisher´s site but it´s a piece of crap, most of the links don´t even work, so it´s hard to get some info on how the program works... :?

check msconfig, maybe there are still services of this program which startup when booting, also check your registry with regcleaner (useful programs section) and remove all remained entries.
if this has no effect you can try to repair the registry by a repair install from the XP CD or you can do it manually:

hope it helped...

damn.... :?

best would be a XP repair install, if you have the opportunity save all your important data first....

I hate to sound so computer illiterate but how do you enter safe mode on Windows Me? I tried to according to Microsofts Tech help site.

simply press F8 while booting, you´ll enter the startup-menu then...
