Ants as Pests to your PC!!!

Hello guys!
I'm dfr3ak... just another newbie here in your site... but i find this site very very interesting... i just recently finished reading your newbie forum the sticky one that says newbie pls. read... and just really got troubled in hacking and cracking topic... as far as i'm concerned hacking pertains to people who create programs for other people to use and cracking is basically using programs to forcibly enter a website- most website that are forcibly entered are po*n sites. :D So is it safe to say that crackers and hackers are one?
But anyways... I posted a topic which i don't think any of you would think of... recently ants (red ants specifically) are pestering my keyboard, UPS ( uninterruptible power supply), mouse and pc... This is funny because as we all know there are no sweets inside these components and neither do i eat infront of or around my computer... the place i've worked with has no aircondition machine... that's why its kinda hot in here which is a tropical country.... so my next question is... does anybody have any idea why ants are breeding inside these components and do any of you got a slightest idea on what to do to prevent them from damaging my computer? any idea/comment would do even the most absurd...
thanks

ask in the local zoo if they borrow you an anteater...

dude, that really sucks...you could maybe hermeticly close the PC tower and use a water cooling, but no chance for the monitor. use a lot of plastic cleaner, maybe they donĀ“t like the smell.... :?

and forget about this hacker-or-cracker-thing, there is no black&white, just shades of grey...

ants are a nuisance, get ant traps and place them in various points around your pc, if they are in your components get some cans of duster and spray them out. you have to find where they are coming in at and try to prevent them from coming inside...call an exterminator even

another thing i seen on a cool gadgets tv show about this guy having baaad trouble with ants.

what it is, is two copper strips (flat) that are placed closely together and surround whatever you want to protect (ie place it around your monitor, or your box on the floor or desk whichever) theres a low voltage or amp that runs within one of the wires when an ant goes to cross the strips and touches the second strip it completes the circuit and the electricity will kill the ant.

Here's an idea: Buy an assload of ant poison and put it around your house (if you live in an appartment, then, um, I guess you're out of luck).
