Well pop in the Windows CD and start the installation, then when you get to the partition screen, simply remove the partitions, then create a new one and tell it to do a format with NTFS.

Do the following to troubleshoot your issues:

1. Try the Windows disk on another computer to ensure that it works.

2. If the disk works, go into your bios and ensure that your computer boots from cd-rom before hard disk.

3. If you can boot into Linux (and not have already ruined the install, by trying to install windows) boot it up, and put in a disc to ensure that your cd-rom drive is infact working.

4. If all of that works, try rebooting the computer with the Windows disc. It should then take you through the normal process of installing windows, simply delete the partitions you had created for Linux (most likely a ext3/swap partition) and then format (a portion or whole depending on if you plan on installing Linux again) the disk into ntfs, and install windows.

That should work..because a linux install can't destroy your BIOS setup as far as I know of.
