hello, i need some help.
I dont know where do start on this wargame 1, i got that with URL inputt but im not that familiar with PHP, so anyone got any good places to read about PHP?

just one more thing, the wargame server is that a server you can hack leagal ? i dont mean like crashing it but just connecting and search "alitte" around?

but on w3shcools.com you learn how to write it, but the source is not open in PHP so i was more looking for away to get around?

learn a little about php/mysql.....

server-based wargames are not available at the moment, so no attacks against the server where the wargames are hosted...of course you are allowed to try intruding the wargames pages, all other rules are written in the "wargames rules" thread. additionally to the rules written there I highly recommend NOT to runs scans of any kind...

long time since ive seen this post! well still stuck on 1 guess im not meant to take two strings and pull em together cud anyone send me a PM with a Good royal kick in the right direction here? except ----> URL BAR <-----

and ye ive been reading w3schools on different languages but i guess i cant tie those strings together!

People still try the web-based wargames? I had forgotten that they existed...

Well anyway, the key to beating wargame one is modifying the url bar. Specifically, create a user and login and watch what the url bar does. Also, try looking at the profile of the user Good_Brain and watch the url bar.

Now that's the royal kick in the right direction, so think inside the box. The url box.

Ack! Bad_brain, wargame 1 is broken. It's a quick fix though:

In the php files that contain the user and passwords, delete all but the first 7 users and passwords in each file. That should fix the problem.

I'm gonna go test the other wargames...
