Deleting files in system root?

Post by slipparse »

Hi, I was wondering how I can delete files in the System32 dir on a remote box. Problem is that the file in question always comes back bcos the box automatically restores this file from the Cache dir.

Anyone knows how to bypass this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as usual, thanks :)

hm,the problem is that the whole windows kernel is loaded into the cache, so you can´t simply disable the caching. tried to do it with disabled system restore feature? (I´m using the german version, so it´s possibly named different)...
