[Question]Firefox

Post by ayu »

Does anyone know where the firefox settings are saved?

As in bookmarks and everything?

And also, can i change the location of where the settings are saved?

Reason is that i am going to make my computer a little more effective, so that all the settings to my regular programs will be saved on a separate HDD so that i can format it fast and easy without having to think much about saving sensitive and important data.

Just so people don't get confused, you can edit your firefox config by going to "about:config" as a url.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

btw, I recommend to make regular backups of the application data directory, saves a lot of time after a re-install of XP because you can simply copy the files back and have instantly all browser-, email client- and other program settings restored again...
