ok so pretty much i am so confused. i have windows vista. i use. and i use xfire. however. when i go to play a game. my ptt wont work. it dont matter what i try. it wont let me talk. as soon as i alt tab outta the game. it works fine. but when i open the game back up it wont work or anything. im looking for any advice or help. i didnt even know what to google up for this one. please guys anything would be great

do u have an antivirus on? try turning it off, it might be a good start.

ok. so i fixed it. lol

a couple of reasons why this were happening were a possible cause. so ill list them off for future help.

1. its windows vista. UAC (user acount control) is generally kept off. but having it on does prevent certain programs from performing their function. in my case the vent wouldnt ptt.

2. right click on the shortcut and hit run as admin. this works too becuase it takes out vistas "blocking for safety" action.

so good luck if any of you find some problems.
