I was so frustrated today in the morning when i was trying to turn on my GPS in my car. It kept popping this message that said "USB connected blah blah"
All i was doing was connected a USB into a AC car converter. The way i always did.

Anyway, after an hour of frustration i googled the error and found out that the unit only works with its own charge which i found after another hour...

So wtf, why would they do that? I mean their charger is the same thing. Its a usb cable + car charger adapter. What is so special about it.
Fuckers.

Yes G-brain is on to it. The Voltage may be 3 or 5 vs 12 etc.

Voltage was a good guess. But better yet, the true answer is "USB 2.0 specifications on battery charging"

thread becomes kinda pointless, that's why I'll lock it...

but well, anyone that feels like an electronics expert can contact me via PM and I'll send the blueprint of my last vacuum tube amplifier (OTL topology) project with direct heating, I am sure the one is able to tell me after ONE look why the EL34 tubes work properly but the 6550 ones cause disharmonic distortions (both use the same sockets and the same voltages)....
