directx 10 for XP

A few weeks ago i remember reading a post about weather someone should use vista and directx 10 or XP and directx 9 for there gaming.

Well i could have dug up the old post but dont see any point in that so for any one who who wants you can take a look here.

i will also upload a tut on this once i have had time to test it myself but i dont find to play games and havent a single one installed on any of my systems although i built this one im on now for that reason :roll: So if any one else tries this before me successfully then please post here for other gamers that are interested :wink:

I've been using DirectX 10 on XP for quite a long time now. It works just fine. However, there isn't that much difference... I didn't notice any.

I was pessimistic that it would work... especially cause it's a pirated one. Whaddya know?

well, DX10 makes a difference, but not many games utilize DX10 yet (Crysis does for example)...and if you have a good system the games will also look good with DX9, you will only see the difference if you have the opportunity to compare DX9 and DX10 directly.
