Skype install problems.

Post by Shimo »

Ok so I'm very new to Linux and I've been trying to install skype for opensuse... I first attempted to use yast but when that failed I attempted to use console and this is what I got back.

shimo@Shimo:~> rpm -Uvh ./skype-2.0.0.68.rpm
warning: ./skype-2.0.0.68.rpm: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID d66b746e
error: can't create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/__db.000

I have no idea what thats suppose to mean.... I have all the dependencies they said it needed... Im running on a 64 bit not a 32 bit.... Is that going to couse any problems? Sorry for such a noob question...
